MORNING WORK

Descriptive writing: Taped to your desk, is the index card from last week in which you wrote a descriptive sentence about a barking dog.  This morning:

1.     Type up your sentence(s) in a large font (around 40 pt.).

2.    Make any corrections or changes. 

3.    Call me over when finished to give it a final check. 

4.    Then you can print and we’ll hang it on the bulletin board.

2.    Describe arrangements of fraction bars based on teacher directions.

3.    Share observations.

4.    Common denominators: tenths, fifths, halves – continue with arrangements of bars and making observations.
