Dear Fifth Graders,

Welcome back!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  We will continue ending our day with a closing meeting.  Though Kindness Week is over, we should still be kind to others.  I’d love to hear about the acts of kindness our classmates carry out.  Let’s share at the end of the day.

Be sure you turn in your Friday Folder.  Have your planner out.  We’ll fill those out right away.  You will move to new seats after Science class.  Check out the link below to get those brains working!

Dear Brightest Students,

Hello.  I wish I could be here with you.  I should be back on Wednesday.  We will change seats as soon as I return.  Before we are ready for the move, please make sure you have saved your D.A.R.E. essay to your folder (22--) and not My Documents.  That way, you can work on your essay from any computer.  Your essay is due by the end of today.  Be sure to proofread it before printing.  Once you have printed it, have a friend read it.  Make any changes necessary and save it again.  Print it one final time.  Each student should only print their essay two times.

If you haven’t turned in your Friday Folder, please do so today.  Also, please take out your planner.  We’ll fill those out right away.  You may get started on the Morning Work for today.

Make it a great day!
