Dear Fifth Graders,

     Good morning!  Well, what did the groundhog report?  When you have time, check out the forum on Moodle that is all about Groundhog Day.  On your desk, is a chance for you to make some of your own predictions about the next six weeks.  After you copy your spelling words into you planner (morning work), you may set some goals and start planning for the future.

    Please turn in West Middle School forms to the purple tub.  Those are due ASAP.  Also, if you had math homework, please turn that in.  And don’t forget to turn in those Friday Folders after a special edition on Monday.

     Good morning!  Happy Wednesday!  Please check out the daily plans for today.  Please note that the midpoint of 3rd quarter is THIS FRIDAY.  Be sure to turn in your blue WMS forms.  I only need two!!  J  Also, turn in “Mimi’s Mystery Multiple Tower” (homework).  We will fill out planners around 9:15 and begin Social Studies around 9:20.  You can be ready for Social Studies by having your timeline handout and map on your desk.  Plus, find the vocabulary sheet from Monday and have that out too.  THANKS!

4.    Learn more about your person at Enchanted Learning (not all of the people on our list are available here).

5.    Learn even more about your person on Biography (not all of the people on our list are available here either).  NOTE: You will need headphones.

 

NEXT WEEK: You will write a persuasive paragraph about the person you are studying.  You will also design a stamp.

Dear Phenomenal Fifth Graders,

     Good morning!  By the time you are reading this, I will be in Columbia getting ready for my day of learning.  I hope we both enjoy our day!

     For Morning Work, please work on your spelling packet, which is due Friday.  If you are finished, please be sure that your Super Bowl summary is finished (uploaded to moodle), and that your Magellan timeline and map have been turned in.  If you are finished with all of the above, play Spelling Hangman (see the link below).

     Also, don’t forget to prepare for your spelling test and Social Studies quiz tomorrow.  See you then.  Do your best today!
