READING REMINDER… S.T.A.R. – Stop,
Take a book And Read – This is reading time that students participate in
DURING our reading instruction time.
Students should be working on a reading skill while reading, “talking back to books,” and reflecting on their own
progress as a reader. Students
should read a Just Right book at this time. R.F.E. time – Reading For Enjoyment – This is reading time that students
participate in at the beginning or end of the day, or when all assignments
are finished. Students can read an
Easy, Just Right, or Challenging book.
