Students will complete the following tasks:

  • Complete the Morning Routine.
  • Partner check: Is your partner at school today? If not, set up the absent folder and form.
  • Read the Morning Message and follow any included directions.

What’s the purpose?

Students will watch two short video segments in order to focus on the author’s purpose of these segments and the messages in them.  Graphic organizers will help guide the students along the way.  Students will discuss their own ideas using the Pair-Share-Decide cooperative structure.
