Students will complete the following tasks:

§  Follow the directions on the Morning Routine Poster (next to the Smartboard).

§  Read the Morning Message below.

Dear Fantastic Fifth Graders,

 

     Welcome back to Room 22!  I hope you enjoyed your weekend.  Please scroll through the Daily Plans so you know what you will be doing today.  Notice any changes?  Be sure to look at the scheduling side of the Daily Plans too (left). For Morning Work, you need to fill out your planners by copying the information from the Smartboard.  Once you have filled out your planner, please turn it in.  After announcements, we will begin our Social Studies activity for today.  If you have any free time between now and then, please check out the new Social Studies page on my web site.  If you have time to play a game, go for it.  J

3.   Take the Spelling Pretest by going to www.spellingcity.com: Then select “Find a List” and type in my first and last name: Jennifer Patton.  Select the list for “Dear Mrs. Parks"

4.   Cursive packet (while waiting to take the pretest).  Packet is due à Wednesday
